PNA observes International Nurses Day

PESHAWAR: The International Nurses Day has been marked by Provincial Nurses Association (PNA) with zest and zeal. 

In this regard, a small rally was arranged in front of the Peshawar Press Club under the leadership of Anwar Sultana, General Secretary, PNA, while other office bearers and members were also present on the occasion.

While addressing the audience, Anwar Sultana said that the profession of nursing was actually a great service to mankind and all the credit goes to Madam Florence Nightingale who institutionalized this profession and converted it to a passion for majority of the aspirants.

She said that the role of nurses was very much important across the globe, therefore, all types of facilities and resources should be provided to them in order to encourage and motivate them for improving our healthcare system, adding that all the nurses were dedicated and available round the clock to fight the Corona pandemic.
