Seminar held on life of Khoglan Baba

TIMERGARA: One day seminar on the life of great poet and philosopher Ihsan Bacha Khoglan Baba (Late) was organized by Pukhto Adbi Tolana (PAT) along with Pukhto Adbi Karwan (PAK) at Lower Dir, Samarbagh, the village of Khoglan Baba on Sunday.
The program was chaired by Advocate Syed Kifayat Shah Bukhari whereas Prof Dr Samandar Yousafzai, Prof Dr Abasin Yousafzai and former MPA Aizaz ul Mulk Afkari were also present on the occasion. In the program, the life, art and contribution of Khoglan Baba were discussed.
Mulana Ahmad Jan, one of late Baba’s friends, talked on the life and childhood of him. After that, Riazwan Ullah Shamal talked on late Ihsan’s literary services, poetry and philosophy. Fazal Hakeem Andalib compared Khoglan Baba’s poetry with other great poets of Urdu and Pashto.
Few other great names of Pashto literature like Saeed Ahmad Sahil, Habib Mayar and Ashna Bajouri, prose writings were presented in the program which will be the parts of upcoming Zarpash, a Pashto literary magazine, of Pukhto Adabi Tolana.
Muslim Khan Wisal, Riaz Darman, Saradar Dawood, Waqar Khan Waqar, Tayeb Hairan, Tahir Altaf Sarhadi, Imran ud Din Hairan, Abdul Aziz Aziz, Tasneem Jan Larawi, Syed Waqar Amen and many others were also present in the seminar.
