JTH organizes free medical camp at Timarpura

PESHAWAR: Jinnah Teaching Hospital (JTH), Peshawar organised a free medical camp in Timarpura locality on Saturday in which hundreds of people of the area participated and availed the facilities of free medical checkup and free medicines.
The camp was organised under the supervision of Prof Dr Ilyas Saeedi, Principal, Jinnah Medical College, Peshawar while Dr Adeel Khan, Medical Superintendent, JTH and Kashan Kattak, Director, Administration and HR were also present on the occasion.
While addressing the camp, Prof Dr Ilyas Saeedi said that the aim and object of the JTH’s free medical camp was to provide medical support to community in the context of current situation at the government hospitals where medics were on strike. He added that the government should address the issues of doctors in order to continue the provision of free healthcare facilities at hospitals.
