IKD’s Urology Team C releases performance report 2022

PESHAWAR: The Team C of the Department of Urology, Institute of Kidney Diseases (IKD), Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) has released its annual performance report of 2022 by leading the other teams of the department.
According to the report available on IKD’s website, the members of Team C attended 23707 OPD patients, 9201 emergency patients, did 1261 admissions, 1466 elective surgeries and 710 emergency surgeries during the last year.
Regarding academic achievements, they arranged 8 educational workshops, 6 symposia, 30 TBL (Team Based Learning), 5 Mock Exams and their 6 residents passed FCPS exam in 2022.
The team presented 14 research papers in national conferences. It did 9 presentations in plenary sessions and presented 2 research papers in international conferences.
It is to mention here that Prof Dr Liaqat Ali is the incharge of Team C, while Dr Muhammad Shahzad, Associate Prof & Chairman, Department of Urology & Transplant, Dr Faiza Hayat, Dr Sikander Hayat, Dr Qudratullah and Dr Ihsanullah as well as postgraduate residents are its core members.
