Muhammad Bilal defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Muhammad Bilal of the Department of Chemistry, Islamia College University (ICU), Peshawar has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Chemistry.
In this regard, a function was arranged at the ICU here on Monday wherein he defended his thesis successfully by answering the questions of the participants in a well-managed and proper way. The event was attended by faculty members, research scholars and students as well as people from different walks of life.
The topic of the thesis of the scholar is: “Prediction of HCV-Encoded miRNAs and Expression Analysis of their Target Genes in HCV Infected/HCC Patients” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Asad Ullah, whereas Prof Dr Muhammad Ishaq Khan served as his external examiner.
