Ph.D scholar Mursaleen defends thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Mursaleen of the Department of Botany, Islamia College University (ICU), Peshawar has successfully defended his thesis here on Thursday.
A function was held in this regard at the ICU which was followed by a question-answer session wherein he defended his thesis by answering the questions of the audience in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Botany.
The title of his research work is: “The impact of waste water on the growth and diversity of algae in district Mardan” which he completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Syed Zahir Shah, whereas Prof Dr Fazal Malik and Dr Lal Badshah served as his examiners.
Apart from the faculty members, research scholars and students of the university, the thesis defence function of the scholar was attended by a number of people belonging to the different fields of life.
