Iqbal Nawaz defends M.Phil thesis

PESHAWAR: Iqbal Nawaz, a research scholar of the Department of Urdu, Islamia College University (ICU), Peshawar has successfully defended his M.Phil thesis here on Tuesday.
The thesis defence function of the scholar was held at the ICU, which was followed by a question-answer session wherein he defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the participants in a proper way and he was declared eligible for the award of M.Phil degree in the subject of Urdu.
The scholar completed his thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Muhammad Abbas, Chairman, Department of Urdu, Islamia College University, whereas Dr Nazar Abid, Chairman, Department of Urdu, University of Hazara served as his external examiner.
Apart from university administration, faculty members, research scholars and students of the Islamia College, the thesis defence function was also attended by a large number of people from different walks of life.
