Post promotion online course for judges starts at KPJA

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA) Peshawar has started the second post promotion online course for senior civil judges promoted in different districts of the province which will continue till December 31, 2020.
The Director General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy Ziauddin Khattak on Friday inaugurated the second online post promotion training course for senior civil judges from across the province. The faculty members of the KPJA were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the function, the DG KPJA said that the Hon’ble Peshawar High Court had focused on judicial work and the cases would be decided in accordance with law in the shortest possible time, adding that traditional training usually involved delays in handling cases as a result of the involvement of judicial officers, however, online training was a best solution to the issue and the judicial officers would be trained at their postings after completion of judicial work.
He further stated that earlier the Judicial Academy had successfully conducted a month-long online training course on October 7, 2020, adding that for senior civil judges, the second post promotion online course would continue till December 31, 2020.
