Sohail, Gulbadan defend Ph.D theses

PESHAWAR: Research scholars Muhammad Sohail Khan and Engr Gulbadan Sikander of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar have successfully defended their theses and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degrees in the subjects of Mathematics and Mechatronics Engineering, respectively.
The thesis defence function of the scholar Muhammad Sohail Khan was held at the Video Conference Hall of the UET on Saturday in which he defended his research work by answering the questions of the participants in a scholarly way. Faculty members, research scholars and people from different walks of life participated in the event.
Whereas, the thesis defence function of the scholar Engr Gulbadan Sikander was arranged at the Video Conference Hall of the UET on Monday in which she defended her research work. The event was followed by a question-answer session in which she answered the questions of the audience in a well-managed and proper way. The function was attended by faculty, research scholars and people from different fields of life.
Scholar Sohail completed his thesis under the supervision of Dr Rehan Ali Shah of the Department of Basic Sciences and Islamiat, UET and scholar Engr Gulbadan completed her thesis under the supervision of Dr Shahzad Anwar of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, UET. Both the theses were examined by renowned professors in Pakistan as well as abroad.
